My 1st digiperm experience

I've been in the same do since high school. When I found pictures about digital perming I got excited and longed to get one for myself. Luckily I got half of my 13th month pay mid year. But the problem was I don't know where to get it done. So I searched online and got different salon choices. The top choices were Beauty Brick, Simon Kim and Tony and Jackey. I first dug to Simon Kim salon as I've read a lot of good reviews about them being cheap and having a satisfactory service. I've found out that the salon is no longer in operation. Beauty Brick is top 2 in the list but I've decided to go for Tony and Jackey because of their promo and pile of good reviews.

Tony and Jackey's promo is P 3,000 for half rebond and half perm. I went to their SM North Edsa branch with my hubby and daughter as part of our weekend mall trip. When we got there I was attended to by a female receptionist. She asked me what service I will be availing. I told them that I want to get a digital perm and that I want to avail of their promo that I saw on their Facebook page. P 1,500 for Aqua perm and P 1, 500 for rebond. I needed to get my bangs rebonded because my hair is naturally curly and my natural curls are already coming out because I had my last rebond last year. But unfortunately the receptionist told me that I can't have the aqua perm because it's only applicable to girls who have "virgin hair" and that I needed to get the L'oreal perm for treated hair. I told them that it's not indicated on their ad and that their ad is misleading. I tried to haggle with them but I didn't succeed. In the end I went for L'oreal perm and regular rebond for P 5, 000 and was treated by one of their senior Korean stylist.

Here's a photo of me getting while getting the treatment.

"virtual computer/mirror"

The staff was so accommodating and nice. They offered us tea and coffee and even let us use their virtual computer which happened to be the mirror. The browser is in Korean though that's why one of their staff had to guide me in order to check my Facebook page. They also let my unica hija Elise watch a movie while waiting so that she won't get bored. As for my hubby, he ended up waiting for me in the couch reading magazines.

After 3 hours of waiting for my new hair do here's what I got :)

After 3 months

Even after 3 months my curls are still prominent and I'm very happy and satisfied because I was right in choosing Tony and Jackey salon. I may not be happy at first because of the incomplete ad that they have but I still think that it's worth it. :))
